The Walt Disney - Mickey Mouse company ( that's what we heard from childhood ) is currently planning to buy YouTube's largest network, Maker Studios for a whooping of $500 million. Maker Studio currently has the largest number of subscribers with 380 million across 55,000 channels and collects about 5.5 billion views per month. This deal will make Disney a major online distributor which should attract more teens in to entertainment world. Maker Studio is one of the largest video production network on YouTube making technology driven videos that attracts the young generation. Disney said, The deal might be raised to $950 million if Maker reached certain milestones. Well , Maker Studios, The ball is in your court. Kevin Mayer, the vice president for corporate strategy said,
"This gives a presence online to reach the millennial group that is increasingly getting its video online, and it gives us a lot of data to help promote our other businesses to them.". This deal will be in favor of both the companies which will close in Disney third fiscal quarter.
