Motorola Droid Turbo Initial Battery Test Failed to Live up to Expectations

Motorola Droid Turbo

With the release of Motorola Droid Turbo, Motorola and Verizon claimed that the phone has a 48-hour battery life due to its huge 3,900mAh battery. But it was only claimed by Motorola and Verizon, as reviewers tested the phone it seems to last for a day. Though still the phone did great as compared to many other similar phones which cannot even get near to what it did. They tested the phone for a whole day and also used it quite roughly like streaming videos, installing apps, taking photos and more. After 21 hours of rough use, Motorola Droid Turbo was still left with 17% battery.

Though this doesn’t mean that it is not impressive, especially considering the phone was on maximum brightness. If a user has no problem with medium brightness the phone can sustain some extra hours too. In the end, it all depends on how the user will use the phone. Many people use their phone just for calls, messaging and browsing. While some use it to Stream videos, take photos, and check out apps, etc. This pattern will definitely affect the battery timing, it can be more or less. But we are sure that with a rough use this Motorola Droid turbo can still provide more battery timing than many other similar phones.

Additionally, with the Motorola Turbo Charger and Droid Turbo’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology, you should be able to get enough battery to start using it again in a short time.
