Google Is Trying To Gain Back Its Users Stolen By Yahoo

Google

Google is definitely the most used Search Engine in the world, but that doesn’t mean they will stop caring about anyone stealing their tiny piece of share. So Google will have to respond to all moves made by its competitors. Last year Yahoo managed to win place in Firefox as default browser and also gained some users through the win.  However, now Google is trying to win back its users by telling them to give up on Yahoo and get back to Google. It has been found that if you enter Google.com while using Firefox there comes a pop up that users should set Google as their default browser. Users can just click Sure to set Google as default browser or just click on No thanks to leave it.

Google also encouraged users of Firefox to go back to Google and also told the whole process in a tweet. All these are efforts are being made to drive away Firefox users from Yahoo. Reports suggest that this Yahoo and Mozilla deal has helped Yahoo gain some market share from Google. We will still have to wait for few months in order to see how this new strategy of Google will work out.
