Fitbit responds to the continuous complaining of Fitbit owners about the Rashes

If you like to keep yourself updated about your health, like daily calories burned, steps taken and other measureable things then the best option is to wear a fitness wearable all day long to have full knowledge. However, this might not be a good idea as Fitbit thinks it can cause some issues. Even after Fitbit working on the problem of rashes with their wearable device it seems some owners are still complaining. Fibit responds to this saying that the problem is not with the company’s products, but rather how people wear the device and for how long they where it.

As said by Fitbit spokeswomen “We continue to be aware of a very limited percentage of users reporting skin irritation among our users. According to our consulting dermatologists, they are likely from wearing the band too tight; sweat, water, or soap being held against the skin under the device; or from pressure or friction against the skin.”

We don’t know whether it is Fitbit’s fault or the owners of the device who are not wearing it properly, but these tiny precautions by Fitbit do seem like a “common sense” thing.
