If you are an Apple TV user, you might want to use Plex App on your TV box but the only way you can do is through jailbreaking. With the new Apple TV, you won't have to do that. Plex has informed ITWorld to bring its plex server to the new Apple TV which will launch in October. The co-founder of plex said Apple TV is a great platform to work with but still they have to work around few things which may take a couple of months. Flex App allows users to organize their videos, music and photo collections and stream them to your device. The availability of flex app on Apple TV will allow users to stream their data on their TV screens. This project is very early so Plex team wants people to avoid setting expectations until the plex team digs into tvOS developer tools and figure out what can be possible. In the meantime, users can continue using Jailbreaking method or AirPlaying content from their devices.
