Email By Google Offering Customized Gmail Addresses Soon

If you are a regular user of Google email service, your email by google basically finishes at “@gmail.com”. In the event you wanted your personal email URL, you would have to buy that separately, although this really is pretty standard. Nevertheless according to a written report from GSMArena, it seems that Google might be about to provide you customized Gmail addresses.

As you can tell in the screenshot mentioned above, the prices start at $2 per month that will give customers their own customized Gmail addresses , allowing them to choose “you@youraddress.com”, based on the availability of course. Nevertheless for $2, that’s all you will be getting without any extra storage.

Nevertheless if you want to add extra storage, you can opt for $5 per month plan that is more or less the same feature, with 30GB of email storage, online support, and access to company resources. Email by Google is the most used service on the internet, if this could provide customized email options, major business would love to utilize the option and even attract more people.

We have to admit that $2 per month does not sound as well terrible to obtain your personal custom Gmail address, particularly if you’re unfamiliar with the process of establishing your own website name and getting e-mail forwarded to your Gmail account and so on. No term on when Google will formally launch this particular service, but are you guys interested in this?

Google Announces new content security for protection against malicious Gmail Extensions

Content Security Policy

There are many third-party extensions available for chrome and especially many developers go for extensions for Gmail. Google is always doing its best to make sure all malicious add-ons don’t get spread, but still they are always out there. Last year, Google improved privacy of its Gmail users, which is believed to be done because of security issue raise by NSA. Now Google is going even further with the security. Danish Irani the Software Engineer of Gmail security announced a new security feature related to extensions. Google has implemented something new called Content Security Policy (CSP).

With the help of CSP you will be able to stop malicious extensions from changing things which you don’t want them to change. There are many add-ons that can slow your system down or even use a malware to compromise the security of your system. Google says that most of the popular extensions have already adopted CSP without any issue, but still many extensions need to be updated. It is perfect for people who use different Gmail add-ons frequently. CSP will definitely be a great way to clean those messy extensions and remove all malicious ones.

Get your Emails Proofread by Humans using eAngel Service

eAngel Proofreading service

Though there are many online services out there, but eAngel Proofreading service seems to be the most useful one out of all. With it you can a human autocorrect service right on your Gmail outbox for a tiny monthly fee of $5. eAngel is a Google extension that will add a ‘Send with eAngel’ button with your Gmail compose window. Human proofreading is obviously far better than computers with algorithms. Humans have a better grasp over the English language and also have better sense of detection as compared to Computers who are just able to make the document grammatically correct. Though students might be able to take benefit of such service to make their home work free of errors, but what can we do.

The eAngel service is also not limited to just English language, it can support English, Spanish, German and Hebrew. Furthermore, it might support more languages in the future when they will hire more staff. It is also obvious, that your emails will also take a bit of a time before reaching its destination as a human will have to first proofread it. However, this delivery time will decrease with time as eAngel add more staff to its lineup. Adding more staff might also provide support to different languages. We still don’t know if the increase in staff and better service will lead to any changes in the monthly fee of $5.

Gmail 5.0

Recently, Google has been visually upgrading a lot of its Android apps and now its Gmail’s turn to shine. With the latest update of Gmail for Android, Google is not only changing the look and design of Gmail but also adding some extra features. Google has added support for Yahoo and outlook in its Gmail app. It seems that Google wants to combine all android email into its Gmail app. Furthermore, Not only Yahoo and Outlook are being added, Google mentioned they are also adding other services like IMAP and POP3 into Gmail. Google also enhanced Exchange ActiveSync in Gmail, which will help users to not end up being forced to flip back and forth between different Android mail services.

The visual upgrade is also quite big. You should expect to see a complete overhaul with renewed icons, mail page layout and some other visual tweaks. Gmail 5.0 isn’t available yet so you will have to wait a little bit till you get hands on these new features. Though we still don’t know the exact date when it will be out, but many people expect it to be out when Android Lollipop arrives which is just few weeks away. There is also no detail on iOS version of Gmail 5.0 yet. But we expect it to have a visual overhaul too with similar enhancement in features.

Google’s New Inbox App Manages Your E-mails

Inbox app

Several years ago, email was just a service to send and receive personal messages, but now the inboxes are full of different kinds of messages. The messages like newsletters, social network notifications, bills, reminders and invitations are taking up all the area and sometimes this leads to missing important emails or notifications. To take care of this issue, Google’s Gmail team has introduced a new app called Inbox. The app does loads of stuff and manages them in a way that you could easily see what you are looking for and don’t miss any email or notification. It will not replace Gmail in any way it is just an app for Gmail that will help manage your emails in Gmail account.  What the app does is creates bundles of similar types of emails to help users to stay organized. It is same as Gmail’s categories, but expanded.

It will not only create bundles of emails, the app also highlights important information such as event information, flight itineraries and photos / document sent by family and friends. Additionally, it can also add relevant information in a message like status updates on Deliver of package or flight. Users will also be able to set reminders to their priorities. We are still not sure why Google made a separate app for this, though they could have just added the feature into Gmail. If you want to avail this service you will have to send an email to inbox@google.com as it is currently invite-only service.

Gmail New Interface Hinted For Android [Leaked Images]

Gmail for Android is getting a fresh new interface in the coming days. The images were leaked on Geek where Google's email client Gmail was seen with a new creative and colorful look.  The interface is in the testing phase right now, and Google is checking the functionality of new features added in the new Gmail for Android. You might be surprised to read "New Features", Yes !! , Google has added new features in the Gmail. As you can see in the screenshots below, the new interface is totally looking great with new colorful tabs and clean atmosphere with rounded pictures like Google plus. Basically email ( whether they are on desktop or smartphones) are usually something users don't want to view, might be because of its dry interface. If you look at the older version of Gmail, it used to look like an Excel document with only black words slapped on white board with no creativity at all. That was the reason why Gmail is advancing more day by day, this is the era of creativity, and people love to explore and share things on web which are clever enough to attract their attention. Google is now exploring ways to make its email client something, which people actually wants to use.

Gmail New Interface Hinted For Android

There is whole new features added with the new interface like new" Pin System"which allows you to pin an email if you want it to stay floating at the top of your Inbox, and there’s a toggle switch for when you want to see your pinned emails and when you want those messages to go back to their original point in the Inbox. This looks like it would be a great deal more useful than the current star system, which doesn't appear in this UI at all. There also appears to be a new inbox view which organizes messages based on content.

Apparently meta tags like Finance, Social and Forum are automatically applied to emails in this view. There is a new "Snooze" option which allows you to snooze you email means your email can appear as read until the timer is goes off and then it will appear at the top of emails. The timer can be set for several hours, days or week depending on your need.

Over all the new interface is great and useful that will change the functionality of checking your email, it will be much more like a fun now. Google has not yet given any dates for the new interface to arrive however it may make it public without giving any notification. Keep checking your Gmail.
