iOS 7

iOS 7 WWDC 2013

It is expected that Apple might release the latest version of its mobile operating system iOS7 which will be much more advance and includes new features and gestures. Apple will keep the functionality same but they will have a new impressive design. During Tim Cook interview at D11 conference he confirmed that users can expect to loose some “Skeumorphic” textures found in the previous releases. It will have more “Black and white” elements. The digital view of the real world objects will be changed this time. There will more gesture controlled functionality with additional ways to access basic information. It will have more sharing options with AirDrop and File-sharing service which helps users to swipe the files from one device to other if they’re on the same Wi-Fi network. Apple also plans to add built-in System-level integration to send media files to Vimeo and Flickr. This software will also have some Yahoo contents because The Wall Street Journal has reported that Apple and Yahoo are working together to bring Yahoo content and services to Apple’s devices.

OS X 10.9

OS X 10.9 WWDC 2013

New operating system for Mac is also expected to be revealed in this conference which will be OS X 10.9. This operating system is code named as “ Cabernet” which will have some new functionality from iOS that are exclusive to OS X. The rumors for this update are very thin but still it was discussed. This new software will have new features which includes big tabs for file browsers, which means there will be no more floating windows on the desktop which many of the users face. This time it might have Siri and Apple Maps integration which was a big problem in the last versions. Bringing iOS features to OS X was very difficult but this time it might be fixed. It will have full screen apps that work. This feature was installed in the last version as well but it did not performed well when working with multiple monitors. It will have some more multitasking features.

New Macbooks

MacBook Air WWDC 2013

It is expected that both the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro will come with an update. MacBook Air might have a pixel –dense retina display . It is suggested that Apple might retain both MacBook Air screen sizes and ship two models of each that differ by storage and processor speed. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities previously reported that the next MacBook Air version will include dual microphones.

Previous version of the MacBook Pro was thick in size , this time it might be different. The aforementioned Ming-Chi Kuo also previously reported that the next MacBook Pro refresh will bring a slightly skinnier design to the 13-inch Retina display-model. Because the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display was only introduced last October, we find it unlikely that Apple is already scheduled to redesign the machine.

iRadio

iRadio - WWDC 2013

Apples might release its music streaming service known as iRadio. This streaming music service will be same like Pandora with some added tricks. Similar to Pandora , the songs will be selected according to users interest. The service is similar to Genius, according to 9to5Mac, but uses tracks from the entire iTunes catalog, not just those in a user’s library, and offers an easy method for iOS users to simply purchase tracks they hear with a tap directly through iTunes. Typically, DMCA streaming radio does not permit track skipping, but this may be a feature of iRadio, depending on how Apple’s negotiations with labels went. iRadio will be free but still its not confirmed.
