Foursquare Application Coming To Windows 8 Tablets

Today at Build Conference Day 2 keynote, Microsoft previewed the Foursquare application for Windows 8. Foursquare is currently working on its Tablet application for a newly designed way to interact people around you. People are switching to Tablets and Smartphone's and currently after the developers' preview of Windows 8.1 , many of the users will be switching to Windows 8.1 after its official release. Foursquare kept this scenario in mind and decided to work on Windows 8 Application. The experience of foursquare on Windows 8 will totally be different and unique.

Dennis Crowley, Co-founder and CEO of Foursquare said,

“People want to experience and explore the world around them, and the Foursquare for Windows 8 app helps them do that. It makes it fun to search for a place for dinner or to go out, and helps people discover new experiences. We’ve worked with Microsoft on a bunch of initiatives over the years, and this product is another example of the great things we can do together.”

As you can see from the video below , the preview of the application is superb, with uniquely designed acticity board and excellent user-interface. Scrolling is smooth with full screen entries with photo description of recent activity by your friends. You can check what’s happening around you in more detailed view with browsing venues and entertainment activities around you. Its beautifully designed keeping tablets in mind. That's a pretty nice application to show off on Windows 8. There’s a lot coming out on Windows 8 , so folks are you ready to experience new Foursquare application on Windows 8 .
