Apple Purchased Personal Assistant App Called Cue For $35 Million
Today, a news from Apple insider illustrates that Apple has purchased a personal assistant app known as Cue which was formerly known as Greplin. Apple Insider claims that Cue was purchased for a price of between $35 million and $45 million. This deal has been confirmed by Apple but the pricing details are not confirmed. A Rep said in a statement to Mashable, that ,"Apple buys smaller technology companies from time to time, and we generally do not discuss our purpose or plans,". Cue which is known as Greplin is a platform that makes Social media activities easy to use from your LinkedIn accounts , contacts , Gmail , Calenders , and Dropbox account. The company proved to be faithful with Apple and changed its name to Cue last year and became the personal assistant for iOS along the lined of Google Now for Android. Yesterday , Cue announced on its website that it was shutting down the service but the reason for the shutdown has been released today. Well that's a good business for Apple that changes smaller technologies into bigger companies from time to time.
