This application will let gamers purchase any of the digital PS4 games and then begin the download on the console remotely. During the Tokyo Game Show Yoshida showed off some of the second screen experiences you'll be able to have during game play. One example was in The Playroom in which he drew a picture on his smartphone and pushed it up to the game, where it came alive.
Shushei Yoshida added,
“There are many big publishers creating their own apps for their games, like Watch-Dogs or Battlefield, and that’s great,”
“But smaller developers can use PlayStation App to connect to PS4 and load an application, like drawing software for example, so that you don’t have to download and install a specific app on your smartphone. It’s open to all PS4 developers to use.”
This PS4 application will be great software to be connected with gaming activities and will make gaming handy. Now we can say that Sony have entered in the ground of future gaming that will turn our smartphones and tablets into controllers, much like Microsoft’s Smart glass on Xbox One. More information about the app will be available near its launch day. We will update you with more latest news.
