BlackBerry Market Share In South Africa Beats Samsung By 5 Percent

Its seems like BlackBerry low market share in US has forced company to take some serious actions. Before iPhone and Andorid, Blackberry used to rule US markets and has a great dominance. But after some top smartphones from Apple and Samsung, lowered down BlackBerry and over took the throne. Though BlackBerry is not getting a good response in US market, The company is seeing some good response from South Africa. According to Statistics revealed by World Wide Worx and Dashboard, The Canadian manufacturer has over taken the market share in South Africa and beaten Samsung by 5 percent. BlackBerry’s market share in South Africa is up from 18 percent to 23 percent from 2012 to 2013 , whereas Samsung stayed up at 18 percent. This increase might be due to BlackBerry’s new BB10 device which has received a good response from South Africa. Overtaking Samsung doesn’t means that Blackberry own the market, Still Nokia is on the top having 44 percent of the cellphone market, which was lowered down from 50 percent last year. Anyways , this news perhaps is a positive report for BlackBerry but company main target is to dominate Europe and North American market once again , so lets see in the coming future how BlackBerry manages to make themselves on the top.
