Have you ever thought of using a three sided screen smartphone in future. If not , you should start thinking about it now. According to the Bloomberg’s report , Samsung is planning to release a new smartphone next year that will be a three sided smartphone with a new look and design. The screen of this smartphone will warp around the edges which can be read from an angle. This phone will also use an upgraded version of Samsung’s technology called Youm which is currently featured in Galaxy Round. According to the report, This may be in the line of S series or Note series or may be Samsung plans to announce some new series of smartphone by the introduction of this three sided phone.
The three sides of the phone will operate separately so you can imagine how creative the phone will be. Analysts told CNBC that the curved design would allow Samsung to stand out to consumers. Ian Fogg, head of mobile analysis at IHS Electronics and Media, said
"Over the last five years, almost every smartphone has ended up having a very similar shape,The first thing this does is it enables Samsung to innovate in the design and appearance of the handset to make it stand out from rivals."
The Smartphone will unlikely not be seen anytime soon might be in the second half of 2014 in against of Apple’s upcoming Curved iPhone .This news will once again put Apple in confusion that either to release curved screen smartphone or work on new idea of three sided phone. Well its true , Samsung deserve the appreciation in changing the future of smartphones.
