Apple iPhone which saved the life of the soldier in Afghanistan. A soldier from Utah, US named Frank was assigned a duty in Afghanistan, He and his team helped another unit that had a rolled vehicle. While aiding the other unit, Frank noticed a teenage suicide bomber. Frank tried to stop that teenager and fired first, but still the bomb was exploded, sending shrapnel to everyone who was near. Frank was hit by shrapnel around his body, but the part where his iPhone was kept, was saved from shrapnel. As you can see in the image below,
Apple iPhone acted as a shrapnel proof device for Frank.
It is possible that the additional shrapnel could have caused further damage and complications, especially if it hit major arteries, so for all we know, the
Apple iPhone helped prevent that..When Frank attempted to contact Apple and asked for a replacement iPhone, the company told him that he can replace his old iPhone with the new one, but he cannot keep both ( new and damaged ) with him. After all , Frank decided to keep his old iPhone as a memory, which he can kept it as "Life Saver iPhone".
