Amazon Workers In Germany Went On Strike
In Germany, Amazon workers and staff members are going on strike starting from today morning. Workers demand for increase in their wages and wants company to co-operate with their needs. German Union Labor Verdi is leading the troop with all casual workers working in the company since a long time at fixed wage. This is not the first time that Amazon German workers are going on strike, Amazon was pressurized last year as well before Christmas. Union Labor Verdi told , " Amazon is refusing talks about wage agreement". According to Verdi , he hopes that with this strike , Amazon will be able to increase the pay rates of workers across all retail stores in Germany, but Amazon is giving a total reverse statement. According to company , workers are being paid above the average company standards. Amazon cannot go against the company standards. Well lets see what company will make to settle down the agreement, after all Amazon has to fulfill the workers demand in order to run business. Amazon market in Germany is the second biggest after US, with 9,000 warehouse staff across nine distribution centers and increasing another 14,000 seasonal workers.
