Apple is a big brand of consumer electronics, mobile devices , computer software and personal computers but no one knew that the Apple company is also conquering online retail industry. We all know Amazon is on the top for online shopping , but do you know who is on second position? Thats non other than Apple. According to a data report from e-commerce research firm , Internet Retailer, Apple has became the second largest online retailer after Amazon. When the research firm added all the hardware, software , apps sales it came out to be more than $18 billion, which promoted Apple to the second position. Before, the hardware sales were excluded from the company but this time when all the sales were added, they shoot up the Apple's online sales graph.
Amazon is still very much ahead of Apple and is on the top position with $68 billion sales. Apple still have to work a lot in order to beat Amazon's record, but as compared to Apple's previous sales graph , this years graph took a sudden spike after adding all the hardware sales. Other companies like Staples, Wall mart , Sears , Macy and etc are far below $10 billion mark. Wall mart company has taken a sudden gain in its sales in 2013 and has reached to compete Staples. As you can see in the image above, Stables and Wall mart graph are meeting at the same point. Staples is smooth but Wall-mart has taken 30% jump in 2013.
