Twitter's Second Attempt In Music Service, Considering To Buy SoundCloud

Twitter once again thinking about stepping into Music discovery service due to increase in users interest in music shares and links which are revolving around twitter at a vast scale. This attempt is not new, however if you remember, last year Twitter revealed its Music service which got good response at the initial stage but after some time it went dark and as a result Twitter put an end to the music service in March this year. Now again Twitter is trying to work on its music service and this time the micro-blogging site is targeting SoundCloud. This time Twitter wants to cover up previous mistakes that lead the Twitter music service to die.

Twitter planning to buy SoundCloud music sharing service

If you are music lover, you would know about SoundCloud, It is free service that lets users upload and share music files around the web, SoundCloud is also known as " YouTube of Audio Music". Last year in October 2013, SoundCloud user base reached 250 million, this year it would have gone more. Twitter user base is also same as of SoundCloud , so if the acquisition between Twitter and SoundCloud went successful, it would give a boost in Twitter's users base.

It makes sense for Twitter to buy SoundCloud because most of the tweets on the site are of music files from SoundCloud, if the company bought the service , users will have not have to jump anywhere else except for Twitter. It could not only bolster its own growth following the acquisition but also provide a way for SoundCloud to sell ads against the content. According to Recode, if the acquisition goes forward , it would be the most expensive deal Twitter could ever make. Now financial deal between the two companies have came yet, but we will share with you latest news regarding this topic , if we get any official statement from Twitter and SoundCloud.
