Uber Car Service Became The Most Profitable Start-Up As Of June 2014

Uber Car service, which is a taxi service app started four years back has now reached a level of top valuable start-up which has valued the company at a stunning $18.3 billion funding as of June 2014. Uber has now became the favorite app for travelers and for people who want to offer their car as a taxi. Uber has left Airbnb, Dropbox and Xiaomi behind which has $10 billion of funding each in 2014. No-doubt if we observe ,Uber app has provided a great convenience for people. Anyone who owns a car and have Uber app installed on their smartphone can offer taxi services to travelers, and people who are outside searching for a Taxi can now easily book a taxi cab from their smartphone using uber. Uber cars are now available in major parts of the world majority in US, Europe and China. 

During the snow storm in New York City last December, Uber faced a lot of controversies where the companies neck was stuck in bottle. The company was accused for violating local taxi laws and its pricing model created a buzz among local taxi drivers which resulted in high fares. Despite of all the controversies, Uber is still the top taxi service provider in the world.
