Google recently made its Google Now launcher available on Play Store but unfortunately the application was only limited to Nexus devices and Google Play Edition devices. Nexus users can easily download the Google Now Launcher on their smartphones but non-Nexus users still have to wait. ZTE is moving one step forward and has announced that all the upcoming ZTE smartphones will come pre-loaded with Google Now Launcher as a gift. There are two upcoming ZTE smartphones in the pipeline which are ZTE Blade Vec 4G and another ZTE premium device which the company will announce on 24th July in Hong Kong.
ZTE Blade Vec 4G is already released in Europe and China so it is still unclear that how the device will be updated with Google Now launcher , as it cannot be directly downloaded from Google Play Store except for Nexus devices. Other big markets like USA , will get ZTE Balde Vec 4G preloaded with Google Now Launcher. ZTE Premium smartphone is all new , so it will be the first smartphone to have Google Now Launcher pre installed from day 1 in all markets.
Google Now Launcher will soon be made available to other OEMs but it seems like ZTE is the first non Nexus device to have Google Now Launcher installed. We will share more updates once ZTE premium device gets its official release on 24th July, head back for more updates.
