What is New in iOS 8.1

iOS 8.1
After the release of iOS 8 the major update is iOS 8.1. This update solves many problems which came with iOS 8 and provides better user experience. You can go back to see recently solved problems by tapping the menu button at the bottom of the camera view. Tap the arrow button to view the previously solved equation. All solved problems can be recalled. Along with some bug fixes iOS 8.1 also comes with some additional features that also need Yosemite to be operating on Mac. Below are some new features and some updates in iOS 8.1.

iCloud Photo Library
A beta service has been introduced by Apple to backup photos. The service will sync all your photos to all your devices. It also decreases the size of the photo for better storage. If a photo taken with iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus, it will have a larger size, but the service will reduce the size for better storage.

Apple Pay
In available areas, Apple’s payment solution can now be set up on devices. To use the service you will have to add your card and other verifications. Apply pay is compatible with all devices that support Touch ID.

Camera Roll
Camera Roll is back! Apple pulled out this feature, but many users complained about it and Apple listened.

Continuity
Continuity will work better with this update and a new feature is added, giving you the ability to send and receive SMS on Mac.

Bugs fixed and new bugs
Many bugs which were in iOS 8 are now fixed in iOS 8.1 but with iOS 8.1 many new bugs also came. Some Wi-Fi problems have been fixed though some new bugs are also rumored to have been found. Bluetooth and screen rotation bugs are also fixed in iOS 8.1. However, many iPhone 5 users are reporting device crashes.
