Google Calendar Gets Better with New Features and Design

Google Calendar
With the introduction of Lollipop, Google is also upgrading Google Calendar app. The upgrade involves a full change in design which we will see in the future along with tons if new features. The best new feature is the app's ability to look for important information in your inbox and create appointments for you automatically. Like when you book a Flight or make a reservation in a Hotel, Google Calendar will pull the information out of your inbox and will make an appointment along with all the details like check-in time and flight number. The best part is, it will not only make an appointment, but also automatically update it for example if the Flight is delayed or your pottery class is canceled. Google will also assist you by suggesting people, location and event titles according to your behavior. For example, as said by Google if you regularly go for running in Central park with your friend Peter then typing R-u-n will automatically suggest ‘Running with Peter in Central Park’ along with all the information such as Peter’s contact information and location on the map.

Another major feature is more related to the design of the app instead of its function called Schedule View. Basically, this update is for the agenda view to make it even more presentable and informative. Schedule View works the same way, but it shows photos, maps and illustrations to present it even better.

The update will be included with all devices running Lollipop. The update will be rolling out in the next several weeks, so till then rest of the Android users will have to wait.
