JINS MEME will be bringing its Smart Glass to Stateside in 2015

Although, Google glass is really cool, but there is one tiny drawback of it that is it being quite obvious. It is quite hard to ignore when you are talking to them with a computer module on your glasses. Some people even have taken action against believing people are constantly recording or photographing them. May be it is time to have a subtle solution. JINS MEME is a smart glass available in Japan which is quite conspicuous as compared to Google glass. The JINS MEME is currently available only in Japan but now it seems they are expanding to Stateside and will have a demonstration at CES 2015.

It says in the Press release “Tokyo-based eyewear brand, JINS, today announced that it will bring JINS MEME, a brand new class of smart eyewear, to the U.S. market in 2015 as part of its expansion plan outside of Asia.” We still don’t know the exact time of its launch in Stateside, but it will be quite interesting to see how it will do in such a competitive market. JINS MEME comes with many sensors which helps it work kind a like a fitness band. There are built-in electrodes that let the smart glass detect blinks and eye movement. All the information gathered will be displayed on a iOS and Android supported App.
