Tesla Model S P85D Will Get Update That Will Make It Even Faster

Tesla Model S P85D

Electric cars are starting to become quite prominent and beating gas-powered cars in many ways, but still when it comes to speed gas-powered always wins. However, Tesla managed to prove the whole world wrong when its Tesla Model S P85D managed to go 0-60mph in just 3.2 seconds. This makes it extremely fast car, but still it seems Tesla is not satisfied with this speed. Now, Tesla is planning to roll out an OTA update for Tesla Model S P85D that will make this car even faster. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla said in a Tweet “Tesla P85D 0 to 60mph acceleration will improve by ~0.1 sec soon via over-the-air software update to inverter algorithm.”

So with this new update the car will be able to 0-60mph in a time of 3.1 seconds. Of course, 0.1 seconds might not be a big number to actually be felt by passengers or driver, but still it is perfect for marketing and gives it more bragging right as an Electric car. The car will also be updated just a like phone is updated without any need of going to your dealership to receive the update.
