Uber was banned last year from offering their transportation service in Spain and it still can’t operate there. However, this doesn’t mean they can’t offer their other services in Spain. So Uber has Launched a new service in Barcelona where they provide on-demand food delivery service being called UberEats. With this service people will be able to order meals from different restaurants which will be delivered in 10 minutes. Uber has teamed up with Plateselector in order to create a meal rotation, and the cars of drivers will be loaded with packaged food to deliver.
Each will cost about €10 with delivery charges of €2.50. To order, customers will only have to launch the Uber app and select Eats icon. If you would like to avail these services you will first have to update your app if you are in Barcelona. The judge has ordered all telecoms to block access to it and all Carriers have agreed to it. But still Uber has managed to use another address to give residents a reliable way to order food.
