Android 5.1 is here, what’s new?

Android 5.1 is released, download it now to get the new features. Google has started updating Android Lollipop 5.1 to compatible devices which contain better support for phones multi-SIMs. The new Android also has device protection and HD voice for the call only on supported smartphones. Android users are waiting desperately for it, but it is still not clear that when it will be available to all Android users.Android’s vice president Dave Burke is keeping things unclear on blog posts but for now this new update is only available for Nexus 5, 7 and 10.

Multi-SIM users are growing gradually and multi-SIM headsets are usually for people who do business. Multi-SIM headsets are used across many countries, therefore with this new update Android Lollipop now fully supports multi-SIM headsets. What is device protection? Device protection refers to your mobile security. Mobile security is something that Apple and Microsoft are working for the few past years. According to this update, device protection will keep your device locked unless you sign-in with your Google account. Phone will be remain locked even if you reset it to factory settings.

HD voice refers and enables to talk with each other in a clearer voice making it more comfortable when you talk on the phone. If you are using Nexus 5, 7 or 10 you can update your phone to 5.1.
