Windows 10 Will Bring Smart Dial To Android Smartphones

Certainly one of the neat attributes of Android is its intelligent dial. Essentially this lets you lookup for contacts by typing in their name utilizing the keypad rather than needing to scroll via your deal with book. It is faster and more convenient and it appears like it may be coming back to Windows 10 handsets.

This was evidently exposed throughout a presentation by which the feature was shown on the presentation slide which you'll see towards the right. Interestingly enough, the smart dial function was actually component of windows Cellular before Microsoft decided to go along with windows Phone and we’re unsure why the feature didn't arrive along with it. Maybe it had been an oversight, perhaps Microsoft had usually meant to deliver it back again but forgot, who knows?

Either way what we do know is that it appears like it's set to get a return in Windows ten. The presentation also reportedly showed off a Phonebook feature in which users could look up public figures.

According to a current announcement by Microsoft, Windows 10 is set for a launch this summer. Nevertheless it appears like it would only be the PC version windows 10 that's been pegged for a summertime release, but no word on when the version intended for mobile devices will probably be launched.
