BlackBerry Priv Hitting AT&T On November 6th

A couple of weeks back BlackBerry verified that the phone we all been waiting for is indeed its new Android smartphone. People who would rather buy a subsidized version from a carrier can switch to AT&T since the carrier just declared it will launch the BlackBerry Priv on Nov 6, the carrier has now started taking pre-orders for the BlackBerry Priv in the United States as well as Europe.

This will make AT&T the first network to offer BlackBerry’s first Android powered smartphone. It appears rather appropriate because AT&T was the very first wi-fi provider in the nation to release a BlackBerry device in the U.S. with the BlackBerry 950 way back in 1990.  There is no official news as yet if T-Mobile and Sprint is going to be getting into on the Priv motion too.

AT&T clients will be able to buy the BlackBerry Priv for $249.99 with a traditional 2 year contract. It will likewise be available on AT&T Next plans at $24.67 for 30 months, $30.85 for 24 months and $37 for 20 months.

BlackBerry Priv includes a 5.4 " Quad HD screen with Gorilla Glass 4, underneath the hood there is a Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB Ram memory, the handset comes with an 18 mega-pixel rear digital camera with Schneider-Kreuznach, a microSD card slot, a 3,410mAh battery power and it operates Google android 5.1 Lollipop with specific software program from BlackBerry which makes the actual Android Operating System secure.
