How To Turn On Your Find My Phone Activation Lock In iOS 7 – Tips And Tricks

If you are walking on a street and found that you have lost your phone somewhere, you totally get ruined. If i say that now you can convert your lost phone into a useless device , would you believe me? I think you should. You can now convert your lost or stolen iPhone, iPod or iPad into a useless metal with the new iOS7. A new feature has been installed in iOS 7 named as Activation Lock , which makes it difficult for anyone else to sell or use your iPhone,iPad or iPod touch. When you enable your Find My iPhone on your device running iOS 7, it stores your Apple ID and password you use for iCloud on Apple’s secured servers which are linked to your device. If anyone tries to turn off your Find my iPhone option , it will require your Apple’s iCloud password. To activate this option is simple and easy , just follow the below steps,

1) - First go to settings option.
2) - Tap the iCloud option
3) - Enter your Apple’s ID and password if necessary.
4) - Turn on your Find My iPhone.

iOS 7 activation lock

This feature is very helpful in finding your lost or stolen phone and erasing your data. If you want to lock or erase your phone data , just go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID and password. After logging in , select Find my iPhone and then from select device option select your device. From there you can simply track your phone. If you have lost your phone in your home somewhere , you can play a sound to look out in couch cushions. You can put your phone into “Lost Phone” mode which will protect your phone with PIN and put a message on the Lock screen. You can also put your phone into “Activation Lock” mode , which will completely make your device useless. Activation Lock only works with iPhone iPod touch and iPad running iOS 7.
