We enter the month of September and towards the ending phase
of what has been a phenomenal year for smartphones and technology in general.
Admit it, these days our lives run around tech gadgets and we wait for months
for a gadget to come out. So here we are anticipating what’s coming next.
Here is a quick guide for smartphone users of various
manufacturers. Let’s check out what September has in store for us.

Samsung
Samsung is always a busy body in the industry. Samsung has
recently released Galaxy Alpha but they aren’t settling down. Samsung is all
set to launch Galaxy Note 4. Like previous Notes the device is going to be a
wonder – Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 805 and S Pen. The silent consensus on Note
3 was that it was less than what most expected a solid device nevertheless but
somehow techies were expecting more. Note 4 is expected to give us that extra
piece of cake and it should since it will be going head to head against iPhone
6.
Sony
Sony will be launching Xperia Z3. Sony’s devices are unique
in design and functionality and always give a little diversity to Android
users. Z3 will not have QHD but will feature Snapdragon 805 processor with
other desirable specs. Sony Xperia Z3 is going to be a “real” heavyweight like
HTC One last year. If 2.7 GHz processor and 3GB RAM aren’t enough, it has a
mind blowing 20.7 megapixels camera!
iPhone
No other manufacturer will be able to match the hype of
iPhone which is all set to be historic this
year. The iPhone that will roll out
in September’s second week will have a 4.7inch screen – first of a kind in
iPhones that have been painfully dragging 3.5inch screens for all eternity. Galaxy
Note 4 and iPhone 6 will have a fierce competition. While it may turn out to be
a delight for techies, the manufacturers might struggle to keep the hype of
their respective devices. With iPhone 6’s release nearing, the leaks are
coming thick and fast and we already battery sizes of both the 4.7" and 5.5" model.
Huawei
It
is expected that Huawei, the Chinese smartphone superstar will be launching not
one but two handsets in September; Ascend Mate 3 and Ascend D7. D7 is a phablet
will top-notch specs. Any smartphone enthusiast will tell you that Huawei has
turned their game upside down in the last couple of years. They produce
cost-effective phones with jaw dropping features. Therefore, stay tuned.
Motorola
Oh
Motorola Motorola Motorola! Motorola the fast becoming golden boy of Android
phones will be launching three (not just one or two!) updates in the month of
September. This includes Moto X+1 flagship update, Moto 360 watch and the
incredible Moto G’s latest version. Moto G, the best budget phone out there
singlehandedly took on the entire smartphone race when it came out. If its
newer version is similar with similar pricing the competition should be very
worried.
HTC and Nokia
Both
HTC and Nokia haven’t made any official announcements of their releases as yet.
There might be OS updates but we won’t be seeing any handset from these two
giants in the month of September.
