Apple’s New tool Lets Previous iPhone Users Turn off iMessage

Apple’s new tool

About 6 months ago, Apple faced a lawsuit over iMessaging switching over to other phones. The lawsuit was filed by a former iPhone user, but now Apple is doing something about the problem and launched a new tool to solve the issue. Using Apple’s new tool you will be able to deregister your phone number from iMessage service, even if you don’t have the iPhone or using any other smartphone. The message is a service dedicated to provide communication between iPhone user via Wi-Fi instead of their telecom networks. But to do this, it needs to keep track of the user’s phone number. But the problem was when the user of iPhone switched to another smartphone and their iMessage service was not turned off. It started to receive iMessage from other iPhone user to their deactivated iPhones instead as a plain text message on their current phone.

But now it should not be a problem, you can just click here to enter your phone number. After entering, you will receive a code via text message which you can enter on the same page and you will be deregistered from the iMessage service. Though if you still have your old iPhone with you, you can put your SIM card into it and go to settings>Messages and their turn off iMessage using a toggle switch.
