Have you ever think of converting your cheap headphones into a valuable surround sound headphones, if not then consider it. Razer – The maker of Computer Gaming and Peripheral has launched a new software that can convert any kind of headphones into surround sound system which is as valuable as Beats. Users can calibrate headphones to 7.1 virtual surround sound which can be adjusted according to their hearing. This concept was told by Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan to Mashable at E3 this year. He said ,
“So we created a tool that allows users to calibrate their own listening experience”
He also said that surround sound software will work with any kind of headphones. Tan said , “ We tested the software on everything , even the cheapest headphones” .
The functionality of the software is every easy. Users can adjust Razer Surround via its calibration control panel.The panel runs through each of the audio channels, asking the user to place each channel around a circle, so they can differentiate them more easily. The whole setup time takes less than five minutes. The surround sound system is helpful for gaming experience to enhance their hearing feature in the game for perfect results. Gamers can audibly pinpoint the enemies or obstacles , especially those behind them or out of view. Tan said that this tool will be available for free now while asking for a suggested charitable donation to Child’s Play , a charity program that donates games and toys to children undergoing treatment in hospitals.
