Video On Instagram Unveiled By Facebook

Instagram – which is known as the best photo sharing tool on the web is now moving forward with a new addition in its mission . Today Instagram announced on their official blog that “ They are thrilled to introduce video on Instagram “ which is great. On the web , video uploading has become very easy . People wants to share what they see on the go . As Instagram has gained a lot of users so video feature will also be entertained well. It might compete with Vine but as for now this is just a new born feature in Instagram so it will take time to gain attention.

If you already have Instagram installed on your Smartphone's  you might have observed a movie camera icon when you take picture on Instagram. So just tap the movie icon and start recording the video. Instagram has also added thirteen filters for the video to select your favorite scene from what you have recorded  Below i will guide you to record video on Instagram and embed that video on your web pages.

How to record Movie On Instagram

1. Tap at the bottom of the app
2. Tap to switch from camera to video
3. Press and hold to start recording
4. Lift your finger off the button to stop recording
5. Tap Next to add a filter and share your video

How to embed Instagram video on your web pages

Embedding Instagram photos was never as easy job. Instagram uses oEmbed standard meaning services only Embedly and web apps such as WordPress with required plugin can only embed its photos. Embedding  Instagram also require some gameplay with HTML5 which will make your video embedded on your WebPages. On Mashable , the complete procedure was done by Christina Warren ( content writer at Mashable ) . I will guide you over here as well.

1. First in Chrome or Safari open the url of the video and right-click on the video . Select “Inspect Element” option from the list .
2. After selecting that option , you will see some coding lines opened at the bottom of your page. search for the code that says ‘ div class- “Video” and look for the url that starts with “ distilleryvesper” and ends in “mp4”
3. That's the basic code you need to embed , just copy that link and paste in your webpage.
4. Now you have to choose cover photo for you video. Look for the URL of the “poster” image . It will be AmazonAWS link , the url will start with “ distilleryimage”. Copy this url and open it in a new tab.
5. Now you have to generate the HTML5 video code . Just use Video for Everybody generator.
6. Fill out the generator, putting the video file in the MP4 video field, the Cover Photo URL in the poster image field and adding in a title for your embed. ( The dimensions of the Instagram video are 640x640. You can choose to enable or disable autoplay and you can choose how you want the file to embed. Make it easy and just go for HTML5. If you want to offer a way for the video to playback in Flash too, select HTML5 and Flash as your option.
7. Now Copy the code at the bottom of the generator and paste it in your webpage.

You can also embed the Instagram video through Embedly. If your website have the Embedly Library or WordPress plugin installed , you just need the url of the video. This is the easiest option to do but every donot use Embedly or have WordPress plugin so i provided you with an alternative method discussed above.
