If you don't know about the co-development plan of Google and Microsoft for YouTube applications for windows phone 8, let me recall you about the news.

A few months ago, Microsoft and Google had a collaboration over YouTube and Windows Phone. Microsoft appeared to play by Google’s rules in making an app for their customers, but Google said it wasn’t good enough. Despite the differences, Microsoft famously released the app anyway to see what would happen. As it turns out, Google was none too happy and remotely killed the app through its access key. Every Windows Phone users was excited to use its own native YouTube app , but Microsoft blocks the advertisement and violated the terms. In return Google took sudden action and blocked the application.
Microsoft Windows Phone users are now send back to their old YouTube days. Windows Phone users can download the Youtube application from Windows Phone store.
