ZTE Designing Smartwatches Which Will Only Work With Company’s Own Smartphones

ZTE – China’s multinational company and worlds fourth largest mobile phone manufacturer is now entering in the field of smartwatches. China’s ZTE told WSJ that it will be designing its own smartwatch in the coming year and will launch in the second quarter of 2014. This smartwatch will be compatible with only ZTE’s own manufactured mobile phone like Nube Z5 shown in the picture and will have same features like Samsung Galaxy Gear. Though Galaxy Gear didn’t recieved much appreciation from the users but still companies want to give a try to this new technology. ZTE has many plans for the upcoming years , not only aims to design smartwatch but also smart shoes  and smart glasses. ZTE will launch the smartphone in China first , than later on will roll out in Europe and US. The name of the smartwatch is still undecided but ZTE will soon announce some more information regarding under-developed smartwatch. Company also said that this smartwatch will be cheap in price as compare to Samsung Galaxy Gear. China is a hub for majority of the smartphone usage in the world, and the market of wrist wearable technology in China is small. ZTE's mobile marketing chief Lu Qianhao said that launching such a product may give its smartphones a competitive advantage. So lets see how ZTE smartwatch will be able to provide creative convenience to the users in China.
