Microsoft Remains The Top Software Maker In The World

Despite of having bad reviews regarding some old versions of Windows operating system, Microsoft still remains the number 1 software maker in the world. The tech company remains on the top position even after seeing worst days with Windows Me ( releases in 2000 ) and some bad reviews regarding Windows 8 ( released in 2012). Last year, the Redmond based software company made twice as much money from selling its software which is about $65.7 billion revenue. Other software companies like Oracle, IBM, Sap and etc are below Microsoft. With the release of Windows 8.1 the previous problems which users were facing with the first edition of Windows 8 , were solved at a good level. Many users were not feeling comfortable with the new style of Windows 8 and especially the lack of the start button. But in the recent news, Microsoft has also added the start menu back to Windows 8.1 in the new update with more new improvements. As you all know , the latest MS office productivity suit for iPad was also released last week by the company, which has now crossed almost 12 million downloads in just 1 week. So these all are the big achievements of the company which makes Microsoft the top software Vendor in the world.
