Digitimes, which reports about LG providing AMOLED display panels for Apple watch. Digitimes is a famous trade publication news media based in Taiwan which delivers news regarding supply chains, this news was received within sources inside LG display. According to the report, LG will provide 5 million display panels to Apple every month throughout 2015.
Apple is planning to sell 50 million iWatch devices throughout 2015 with the release expected to take place in the first quarter of 2015. According to the previous rumors, Apple company might also source displays from Samsung but there are no legit confirmations from any sources. LG display is reportedly the sole provider of displays for the Apple Watch.
Apple has not yet revealed the exact date of its iWatch release into the market however its is expected that the company will reveal this information when the release date will be near.
