Google’s new Service ‘Contributor’ removes ads displayed on your Favorite Websites

Contributor

Today, most of the internet is funded by Advertisement. The free content is provided in exchange for advertisement, so there is a good chance you will see advertisement on almost every page and most of the people don’t like it. Now Google is using this tiny issue to find another way to generate funds for web. Google will eliminate ads from your favorite sites if you are willing to spend a tiny amount. The new service is called Contributor and using it, you can donate $1, $2 or $3 every month and all ads provided by Google will be removed from websites which are participating. Instead of ads, in the area where ads were supposed to be posted you will see a pixel pattern or just a simple Thank-you message.

It should be mentioned that if you will donate some amount to Google it will only remove ads which are provided by Google, other Third-party ads will still be shown. All of you must be thinking why should we pay for something when you can already get it for free from ad blocking programs. Well, this is also same as other websites like Spotify, Rhapsody and many others which provide the same content that is already available for free on the web, and they get funded by people who care about the content creator’s work and pay for that anyways. Same will go for Google and some people might still pay if they care about Google’s cause.
