It seems Facebook doesn’t want low quality mobile photos
anymore on its service, which why it has added auto-enhance feature to its
service that will automatically enhance a photo when it will be uploaded. This
new feature will adjust clarity, shadows and lightning to make all uploaded
photos look clearer and better. On the bottom of the upload screen you will see
a slider that can be used to select how strong the effects should be. The
feature can also be disabled if you don’t need. Particularly when you are using
phones like Galaxy S4 or iPhone 6 Plus to capture photos. Google also has the same
feature for Google+ app and it has been a year since it’s working.
In the past, you could use Facebook app to apply one-touch
enhancement or add filters. However, this new feature is more effective and
faster to use. Currently the Facebook Auto-enhancing feature is available on
iOS only and Android version will be available in the coming weeks. For all
other platforms this feature is not available including desktop version.
