Microsoft updates its Next Lock Screen for Android adding more functionality

Though Microsoft naturally focuses on Windows phone, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t do anything for the Android. In October, Microsoft created a lockscreen specifically for Android called Next Lock Screen. Now Microsoft has released a new update for the app, adding more functionality. This must be good news for its users as the app did lack bit of functionality. The update is quite a big one. One of the main functions added by Microsoft is the ability to view weather at a glance. With the help of this update, more functionality has been added making it more attractive to other users who believed that the app lacks functionality and didn’t try.

Apart from this major functionality, Microsoft has also added some other features as well. Now you will be able to use home screen’s wallpaper as Lockscreen’s Wallpaper. User will also be able to remove the Status bar if it doesn’t fit their style.
