Motorola might be famous for all the Android powered smartphones,
it manufacturers, but this doesn’t mean that Motorola is not interested in
other types of technology businesses. Motorola has just launched a device that
is not meant for you or me, it is designed for our furry little four legged
friends. It comes with a price of $200 which might seem bit expensive but still
worth making your furry friends look cool with some added bonus of technology.
Now you must be thinking what is Scout 5000? Well, it features GPS tracking
that comes with Geo-Fencing to send you an alert when Sammy will try to get a
bit naughty and get outside of boundaries. This is not all, it also comes with
3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and a 720p camera perfect for some crazy adventures.
The device comes with speakers and microphone, so you also
hear the surroundings (perfect for some sneaky eavesdropping). You can even
give orders right from the comfort of your sofa. Microphone also comes with a
“bark detection” sensor that will notify you whenever your furry friend will be
barking at something. Don’t really know what kind of resistance to water it
will offer, but it should be good as some dogs love splashing in water.
