Samsung succeeded in getting rid of a Galaxy Alpha
Smartphone, but that doesn’t mean they no longer want to build metallic phones.
They replaced it with Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 which are quite cheaper and now
they are adding another one to the collection, which offers better hardware and
also is bigger in size, the Galaxy A7. The device is same as its siblings with
full aluminum body, but it packs better hardware with a Snapdragon 64-bit
octa-core SoC, that has two separate quad core processors 1.8GHz and 1.3 GHz
respectively. It has a big screen of 5.5-inch with super AMOLED display, but we
still don’t know anything about its screen resolution. Furthermore, it features
2GB of RAM, support for microSD and 16GB of internal storage, LTE Category 4, a
13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi
and Android 4.4.
With all those powerful specs and larger screen, it is
powered by a 2,600 mAh battery, which is just a slight upgrade from A-series
other phones. It is actually a bit thinner than the A4 and A5 at 6.3mm. We
still don’t know about its price yet, but it should be low as first target will
be the Asian markets where competition is very strong when it comes to prices.
