Camera improvement is kind a compulsory now with every new iPhone. This is the reason why people are now expecting a camera improvement in iPhone 6S (if that is what Apple is going to call it) too. However, this time if those rumors are to be believed, these changes can be quite drastic. In the past, Apple just increased megapixel count and some algorithms, but now rumors claim that Apple iPhone 6S will feature a Dual-lens camera. If that happens, then there is a chance this will allow Optical zooming too. For improved low light performance, camera module will be changed too.
Apple’s camera has always performed quite well in low light
due to wide apertures, but if all this happens we will see even better photos
with reduced noise. Apple’s latest iPhone 6 Plus is already quite a big improvement
as compared to iPhone 5S. It features optical image Stabilization, which
everyone asked for and also if we take optical zoom rumors as true, then iPhone
6S might be everything what a photographer needs. However, it is still not
confirmed yet by Apple, so it is better to take it with a grain of salt for
now.
