Earlier this month, WhatsApp calling feature got available to few WhatsApp users but now it is available for all WhatsApp users on Android. However, it will not be that easy to get this feature even if you have an android phone. Your phone must be eligible for the app, for instance, you need to have an updated version of WhatsApp i.e. 2.11.531 on your Android phone. Along with the latest version of WhatsApp, you must also have the Latest versions of Android. This means you should have a device whether is tablet or phone with operating system as Lollipop 5.0 or at least Android 4.4 KitKat.
So for the time you have an older device don’t get your hopes up, at least till WhatsApp starts supporting older version or you get a new device with supported systems. It has also been rumored that people who fulfill all the above-mentioned requirements will have to send a missed call to their contacts first in order to get this feature.
