According to the tests of DisplayMate, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have earned the praises for their accuracy of colors in simple screen mode. DisplayMate expert Raymond Soneira also stated that “the most color accurate display that we have ever measured” and “visually indistinguishable from perfect”. They also said about the Samsung’s Galaxy S6 brightness, as the brightest mobile we have ever tested so far.
Samsung has used AMOLED display instead of plain LCD’s and both devices Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge received commendations only for its display. DisplayMate expert also commended S6 models for keeping the assurance of 20% display power efficiency. After the report of the DisplayMate Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge voted for the best display smartphone.
