HTC One M8 On AT&T Bringing In Extreme Power Saving Mode Soon

HTC One M8 when launched in USA was lacing one of its best feature which was Extreme Power Saving Mode option. This option puts your phone in a low power consumption mode when your battery is left with only 5 Percent. Enabling this mode makes your device run 15 hours more if you have 5 percent battery left. Unfortunately, HTC One M8 users in USA were not able to utilize to option as it was blocked by carriers, bu it seems now the wall has been broken. According to the report from HTC Staff , AT&T is bringing in Extreme Power Saving Mode to HTC One M8 by next week. Users on AT&T will be able to experience this superb power saving mode soon.


AT&T will be joining with Sprint to bring in this feature live but other carriers like Verizon and T-Mobile are still in works , soon they will also make this feature live on their HTC One M8 smartphones. For those who aren't familiar with this feature, it’s basically a mode that users can activate manually or have it done automatically whenever the phone hits a certain percentage in battery life. It will restrict certain functions of the phone, such as remove background data, dim the brightness, or limit app functionality to certain apps, like phone, messages, and so on. According to HTC , Extreme Power Mode on HTC One M8 can make the device last long for 14 days, but with limited functionality only if you want to use your phone for calling. Well smartphones are not only meant to be for calling, So HTC One M8 users on AT&T , get ready to experience this cool power saving mode by next week.
