Xiaomi? Seems like a new name right? Well, we are not going to blame you. As most of the company’s products are limited to Asia and China only, so it is hard for the people from outside to be exposed to this company. Although, their market is quite limited, but still they hold third position as World’s Largest Smartphone manufacturer. Though the company is new still they have surpassed companies like LG, Lenovo, HTC, Sony and many more who are in the market for quite a long time. The company’s CEO Lei Jun is quite positive about the company’s future and says in the next 5-10 years they will hold first position as a Smartphone manufacturer leaving behind Samsung and Apple.
Now what is so good about Xiaomi that is making it grow so
fast? Well the most important aspect would be the price. Xiaomi is known for manufacturing extremely affordable devices that
lead to getting their products sold in minutes. In China, during Singles’ Day
Xiaomi generated $169 million in revenue just in half a day!
You should also know that with affordable prices there is also
talent in Xiaomi. Like last year, Google’s Hugo Barra went to Xiaomi now holds
the position of Vice President of International. Xiaomi does provide the right product
at an affordable price so there is chance if it gets the right market they
might even be able to beat Apple and Samsung.
