Currently you can get an HTC Service Pack update from Google
Play store for your HTC One M7 and One M8. If you are planning to update your
phone then we will advise you to hold on for now. It has been reported that HTC
One M7 and HTC One M8 are having issues with Voice calls. Users have reported
that they can’t make calls with their HTC One M7 or M8 and even the dial tone
is not heard while dialing a call. There have been some fixes recommended by
some users like clearing cache from Google Play Framework, Google Play Services,
and in even uninstalling chrome in some situations.
However, it has been proven that these fixes are actually
temporary and there is still chance the problem might occur again. Users can
also factory reset their phone, but of course that comes with a price too, and
you will have to restore everything again. HTC still have to comment on this,
and hopefully we will hear from them soon.
