The ZTE Grand S3 will feature a 16 MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor along with 3GB RAM. The screen of the phone is 5.5 inches with full HD display.

Yes, the specs are not that much as compared to other company’s flagship devices but with the addition of eye scanning ability they have definitely made a strong step. They have partnered with EyeVerify for this technology and the phone will be able to verify using the camera of the phone. This means it adds another layer of security when it comes to biometric security. The phone is said to come with a price tag of less than $500 and will come unlocked.

Huawei’s New Mid-Range Smartphone Ascend Y540 for Budget Oriented People

Huawei has revealed a new Mid-Range phone called the Ascend Y540. However, the reveal was not much of a fanfare and there is no official announcement either. The official announcement will be made soon and so far the exact price of the phone hasn’t been released either. It seems that phone will be sold in Europe with a price tag of €100 or €110. The phone is definitely for budget oriented people who want more for less. The Ascend Y540 surely offers more for less with some amazing specs with this cheap price tag.

So what do you actually get by spending this amount? Well, for chipset it will be powered by Snapdragon 200 chipset with a dual-core 1.3GHz processor, this is an improvement from 1.2GHz processor speed of its predecessor, Huawei Ascend Y530.  The RAM is also doubled to 1GB so you should expect some big improvement in performance. The device will be running Android 4.4 KitKat and will come with dual-SIM option. A 1950mAh battery will be powering it, enough to get it through the day.

Meizu’s M1 Note is a cheap copy of iPhone 5c

Chinese smartphone makers are quite notorious for copying designs of big companies, but lately they are putting more effort in creating original designs. However, it seems Meizu still likes to play the old fashioned way. The company’s new phone Meizu M1 Note is identical to iPhone 5c and also comes in the same colors as iPhone 5c including pink, green, yellow, white and blue. It is Meizu’s cheapest phone yet with a price tag of CN¥999 (about $160). It is directly competing against same entry level phones by Huawei and Xiaomi. The phone is actually quite good value for its astounding price. It’s a Dual-SIM phone featuring a 5.5-inch IGZO display with a good 1080p resolution, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a beefy 3,140 mAh battery. It's  being powered by MediaTek's MT6752 chipset with an octa-core (Cortex-A53 1.7GHz x 8), 64-bit ready processor, a Mali T760 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The M1 Note runs on Meizu's completely customized Flyme 4.1, based on Android 4.4.4.

Although, the phone is quite good, but still it lacks MicroSD expansion and a fingerprint reader. However, it should not make users complain as for such low price this kind of drawback is acceptable. The phone will be available in Chinese market soon unless Apple does something about stealing its design.

Due to Software Glitch, Amazon UK priced Third-Party items at $0.01

Pricing glitches is not that rare as one might think. Every now and then this situation happens and customers get to purchase goods at extremely low prices. However, in most cases the customer’s hopes are shattered as companies just cancel the order with an apology. Well, now Amazon UK has also become a victim of this issue. Reports claim that due to a software glitch, all items sold by Third-Party vendors were set at a price of $0.01, which is a steal for pretty much all types of goods. The error occurred due to Amazon Marketplace’s Repricer Express system.

This software bug happened between 7 and 8PM GMT and affected all items by Third-Party vendors during the duration. This means that all sellers were just providing their products to Amazon to sell them for almost free. Amazon immediately acknowledges the issue and even released a statement on Sky News to clarify the issue. Amazon said “We are aware that a number of Marketplace sellers listed incorrect prices for a short period of time as a result of the third party software they use to price their items on Amazon.co.uk.” Amazon also mentioned that all orders made during that time will be canceled and most of them are canceled already.

However, it seems Lenovo is now trying to give Xiaomi a bit of a Challenge as far as China Market is concerned. Lenovo has introduced its latest Smartphone Lenovo K3 “Music Lemon”, which is built around affordability instead of power. The Phone is priced at 599 CNY ( $97) due to such a low price tag, this phone can be accessed by many people, but the question is, is it really worth that money? Well, Lenovo K3 specification include Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM, a 5-inch 720p HD display, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, 4G LTE, Waves MaxxAudio sound, and a 2,300mAh battery.  

For such a low price these specs are actually quite good and we are eagerly waiting on how this device will do. The Lenovo K3 is currently limited to just Chinese market and we are not sure when it will be launched in other markets if they are planning on moving to other markets of course.

At this year’s Mobile World Congress, YotaPhone 2 was unveiled and after waiting for 10 whole months it has been released in U.K for a price of £555 ($870). YotaPhone, as most of us know is a Dual display phone with displays on both sides. Apart from Two displays, YotaPhone 2 specifications include Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and powered by Snapdragon 800 processor. On one side there is a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED screen and on the other side a 4.7-inch e-ink touch screen. The e-ink display consumes quite less energy because it uses similar technology, which is being used in e-books. The display has potential to show a static content permanently without draining any power. Additionally, as the display is black-and-white it is also quite easy on the eyes, perfect for people who are prone to headaches. As said by Yota’s CEO, this smartphone consumes quite less energy if you compare it to the other competitors. It has the capability to work for 5 consecutive days when it is set on ‘read’ mode. There also another option of ‘economical’ mode in which the phone can keep working for 2 days with a single charge along with basic features such as texting, calling, and reading emails.    

Xiaomi new tablet is rumored to be cheap and efficient

Xiaomi is getting quite under the spotlight these days with the Shipping of million bands in three months and many other the company is under spotlight for its new Tablet. Though the Tablet is still a rumor not officially confirmed, but still it is worth checking out.

According to the rumor from Business Korea, The Xiaomi new tablet will feature a 9.2 inch display with 720x1280 pixel resolution and of course will come at an extremely affordable price just like other devices by Xiaomi. The tablet is expected to price at near $100. Apart from this, there are also some other rumored hardware specs that might come with the new Xiaomi Tablet. It will run on a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor with an Adreno 306 GPU, supported by 1 GB RAM. It will also have an internal memory of 8 GB and performance level can be compared to iPad mini. From the same source, it also says that Xiaomi might introduce the new tablet in mid 2015. However, whether it will be limited to Asia like Xiaomi’s other devices or will they market internationally is still not confirmed.

The reason why it is called a smartwatch is because it can sync with your iOS and Android device and comes with some features which standard wristwatch lacks. World’s Thinnest Tablet iPad Air 2 Revealed By Apple

Apple has just introduced its new version of popular tablets called the iPad Air 2. Apple has made even thinner body and now it is being called the 'World’s thinnest' tablet. Along with thinner body, many new features are added along with enhancing the design and hardware. One of the main features is the introduction of Touch ID fingerprint sensor which is first time introduced in one of Apple’s tablets. Now Developers will be able to use Touch ID for purchases and authentication, which will definitely increase the use of it. Using Touch ID you can use Apple Pay for purchases, whether it is in-app purchase or any physical good.

Though the look is same as its predecessors, the thickness is reduced to 6.1mm from 7.5 as on the original iPad Air making it the World’s thinnest Tablet. It has same display size of 9.7- inch but it should look better on it as Glass, LCD and Touch sensor are now bonded without any air gaps between them. Additionally, Apple also mentioned that they have added an anti-reflective coating on the screen which will help reduce reflections up to 56% percent, so it will be quite easier to use in daylight.  The camera is also being updated in iPad Air 2. It consists of an 8 Megapixel sensor with 1.12 micro pixels and an f2.4 aperture lens. Video can be recorded at 1080p with slow motion feature and photo features consist of Panoramas, burst mode and a time lapse mode which were previously available in iPhones. Apple also enhanced the hardware in iPad Air 2.
